Familiy Information Record (FIR) Benefit Report
The Familiy Information Record (FIR) Benefit Report is furnished annually to every member to provide personal affairs planning information. Based on the member's personal data and military status, we provide an integrated illustration of the following benefits: Survivor Benefit Plan (SBP), Veterans Affairs Dependency & Indemnity Compensation (VA DIC), Social Security, and Veterans Affairs Dependent Education Assistance. The summary also includes a display of your total personal commercial and government life insurances, personal savings, and investments. When kept up-to-date by the member, it is a great planning tool to determine the member's survivor income replacement and/or retirement needs.
